The challenge
Most desktop customization tools are bloated, resource-heavy, and clunky. The goal was to create a lightweight, premium engine that changes wallpapers beautifully without draining system resources.
The approach
Using Electron, I built a fast, privacy-first desktop client. The UI was designed with an ultra-minimal aesthetic, putting the stunning 8K photography at the forefront while hiding complex scheduling logic behind simple controls.
The outcome
A performant desktop app that consumes less than 10MB of RAM while idling, providing users with a breathtaking visual refresh every day without sacrificing system speed.
