The challenge
Existing typing sites are noisy, ad-heavy, and rarely help you actually improve. I wanted a training loop that feels closer to a focused instrument than a game.
The approach
I stripped the interface to a monospaced word field and a tight top bar. Every mode — time, words, quote, zen — shares the same visual grammar. Stats and awards are earned quietly in the background.
The outcome
Sessions feel like practice, not scrolling. The awards and race modes drive return visits without ever getting in the way of the flow.
